Jenny is a qualified teacher, gym instructor and personal trainer who has been supporting adults and young people to develop their understanding of health issues for over fifteen years.

At school she was very sporty and was one of the fastest female cross-country runners in the county. However, in her twenties diet and exercise was not high on the priority list and she neglected some aspects of health and well-being and began to put on weight. After having her first baby she found a local gym with a creche and started using it regularly in order to try and feel healthier and more able to handle those broken nights and busy days.

 

Jenny had a second baby and again used the creche 2- 3 times a week to add some routine to the day and fight the inevitable tiredness of having two young children. The benefits of the regular exercise started to snowball, and she felt that her overall confidence was increasing, energy levels rose along with a sense of overall well-being that impacted positively on all aspects of her life.

She became a walking advert for the benefits of exercise and became very passionate about all sorts of training including running, racket sports, group exercise, resistance training, circuit training and cycling.

The natural next step was for her to complete a Level 2 and 3 fitness qualifications so that she could combine her successful teaching career in health with her enthusiasm for fitness.

Jenny enjoys working with people to create a fitness and nutrition programme that will benefit them physically, mentally and emotionally and to help them increase their quality of life for now and the future.

 

Jenny is keen to continue to study and gain further qualifications in fitness and health and is always reflecting on her practice and striving to be the best she can. She is currently in the process of completing additional instructor qualifications in Indoor Cycling, Kettlebells and Circuit training.
