HUMANISTIC COUNSELLING
Humanistic counselling
Humanistic counselling offers an opportunity to explore personal experiences, feelings and the choices available to you. The approach is based on the belief that, with the right support and understanding, people can develop a greater awareness of themselves and make changes that matter in their own lives.

WORKING WITH YVONNE
Space to talk and to be heard
The relationship between counsellor and client is an important part of the work. Yvonne aims to provide a safe, supportive and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly and take time to understand what is happening in your life.
Her approach draws on person-centred counselling, Gestalt and other humanistic methods, taking the whole person into account rather than looking at one difficulty in isolation.
Counselling is not about someone else telling you what to do or offering a quick solution. It can be a process of listening, reflection and developing a clearer understanding of your needs, feelings and choices.
