We were delighted to host 2 days of this workshop for teachers and intermediate yoga students here at Worcester Wellness. Opening with a pooja celebrating our guru BKS Iyengar.
We worked through a variety of poses. Below you see my colleagues Annie Beatty and Julie Baker doing Virabhadrasana (warrior) I.
Here another teacher Ian Miller is experiencing hip release in Acunchanasana. This increases hip mobility.
Here I am finding quietness in Viparita Sirsasana. Relaxation is a skilful art with many benefits, one being restoring the body to the parasympathetic system for healing and ease.
Sirsasana (head balance) learnt here safely with the wall for stability and balance.
